Megan’s story touched my heart as I have a dear friend living with Glioblastoma. It is an unfair diagnosis, but my friend is living her life... her & Megan’s stories remind me of how important being grateful for every moment is 💞

About Megan’s Mission
Megan’s difficult journey with glioblastoma began in September of 2016 when she was 25 years old. Since then, she has endured so much, including several brain surgeries, chemo therapies, radiation treatments, infections, countless MRIs, and the list goes on. Through it all, she has always maintained a positive outlook and has been an inspiration to her family, friends, co-workers, as well as many others who are fighting similar battles.
Megan lost her battle with GBM on January 25, 2021. She was 30 years young.
She was such a beautiful courageous woman. Megan had a passion for travel, teaching, napping, and most importantly, her family, her loved ones.
As a dedicated science teacher at E.T. Richardson Middle School, she made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students.
